It’ll be a frustrating start to 2020 for Uralla residents, with the town set to remain on bottled water, after their supply was contaminated with arsenic.
Dangerous levels of the chemical were detected in the town water supply one week before Christmas, forcing Uralla Council to truck-in thousands of bottles of water.
The council says the treatment of the supply is going well, though it remains unsafe to drink.
