A water main bursting in the middle of a drought?
The residents of Chilcott Street in Lambton rushed to salvage as much water as they could this morning, when a main broke, sending it gushing up onto the road.
They grabbed bucketful after bucketful, while waiting for Hunter Water to arrive and conduct repairs.
