An all-local cast from will be on stage at the Civic Theatre on Saturday night, for the musical ‘I’ll Be Home For Christmas.’
Written by Grainery Theatre, the Christian production is set in the late 1960s, and references the disappearance of Harold Holt.
“Everyone involved in the show is from Newcastle, we have musicians, we have actors, we have performers, directors, the costume team, everything is all local talent. We’ve got some people with a wealth of experience, but we also have some people who are fresh to theatre, and really that’s the joy of doing it.” – Theo Rule, Musical Director/Writer.
The first of three shows begins on Saturday night.
