Newcastle track, The Gardens, has recorded the highest number of greyhound deaths in the state this year, according to new figures.
Greens senator Mehreen Faruqi is calling for another greyhound racing ban, after releasing data showing eight dogs died at the track, and 250 were injured.
It was compiled from stewards’ reports, which reveal more than 60 dogs died at racetracks across New South Wales.
