SEARCH CONTINUES FOR MISSING EAST MAITLAND MAN

There are fears for a Hunter man who has now been missing for more than 40 hours.

Jason Maskell, aged 43, was last seen leaving his home in East Maitland about 10pm on Tuesday.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as he has not been seen or heard from since; officers launching an investigation on Wednesday.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall with an average build, short brown spiky hair, clean shaven and hazel/green eyes.

He was last seen wearing a lime green t-shirt with a palm tree pattern on the front, navy shorts with a red and white stripe on the side, a full brimmed navy hat and white sneakers with an orange stripe.

Anyone who has seen Jason or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
