TAMWORTH COUNCIL TO RECEIVE FURTHER $2 MILLION IN ROADS FUNDING

Tamworth Regional Council will receive more than $2-million in extra roads funding from the federal government.

It’s one of several councils getting a boost.

Councils in the New England will get more than $11-million, while Liverpool Plains is receiving $866,000.

It’s hoped the funding will help to create jobs and it will be made available in January.
