MAN CHARGED AFTER ALLEGEDLY SEXUALLY TOUCHING TEENAGE BOY

A man in his 50s has been charged after a teenage boy was allegedly touched sexually on the Central Coast on Sunday.

Police have been told two teenagers were walking through bushland near a shopping centre on Bay Village Road at Bateau Bay at around 2 o’clock in the afternoon, when they were approached by a man.

It’s alleged the 53-year-old inappropriately touched the 13-year-old, before the two young boys ran away.

The man was later detained by the father of one of the boys, before being arrested by police.

He was taken to Wyong Police Station where he was charged.
