HIGHWAY REOPENS AFTER EARLIER TRUCK ROLL NEAR BOAMBEE

Good news for motorists travelling north on the Pacific Highway with all lanes re-opening after an earlier truck roll near Coffs Harbour.

Police were called to the Pacific Highway, near the Sawtell Road overpass, around 5:30 on Saturday morning.

The Highway was closed for several hours as crews worked to remove the truck and clean-up a diesel spill.

The 37-year-old driver was taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus for mandatory testing.

Police are investigating the incident.
