Kempsey’s long awaited and controversial cinema has officially opened its doors.
It took almost two years to complete, and locals were quick to visit the $6-million complex…despite public concern when it was first announced.
It holds four cinemas and employs 20 locals – 15 of those are young people.
Up to 170 movies will be screened each week.
