Despite widespread community backlash over its proposed rate rise, Lismore City Council says it will still lodge its original submission.
After much deliberation.. Council re-considered the proposal at a monthly meeting last night.
An independent regulator will consider the special rate variation.. which could see rates jump by 24 per cent over the next four years.
