GAV’S WEATHER | EXTREME TO CATASTROPHIC WEATHER CONDITIONS

Extremely hot, dry westerly winds have begun to move in today. Little to no cloud sits over a dry parched nation starved of moisture.

More wind is on the way as a strong cold front sweeps in across the South East once again.

Westerly winds will kick in hard tomorrow whipping up more dust and flaring up the bushfire situation for another extreme/catastrophic round.

It will be very intense from the Illawarra across the Blue Mountains to the Greater Hunter.

Temperatures will be extremely high ahead of the change which will deliver a significant temperature drop tomorrow night. Little to no rain is expected.

Catastrophic bushfire conditions are forecast for the Greater Hunter with a total fire ban in force for the entire state of New South Wales.

Hot, dry, strong North Westerly winds with coastal North Easterly seabreezes for North East New South Wales.

An evening, dry, southerly change will move through.
