GAV’S WEATHER | MORE DRY, HOT WIND AHEAD OF COOL CHANGE

The recent rain has had little to no impact as the hot, dry westerly winds returned kicking up dust while re-flaring up the bushfire situation.

Only the south east had the luxury of cloud cover as the clear skies return to dominate the nation.

More wind is on the way as a strong cold front sweeps in across the south east corner of the nation.

Temperatures will remain high ahead of the change which will deliver a significant temperature drop.

Tomorrow expect another hot, windy day with more extremely dangerous bushfire conditions with total fire bans to remain in place for much of northern New South Wales.

A cold change will drop temperatures for the weekend but deliver no rain.
