The situation at Crowdy Bay National Park, north of Taree, has been downgraded to Watch and Act, after an emergency warning was issued earlier today.
The blaze – which has been burning for nearly two weeks – broke through containment lines.
It’s consumed more than 2,000 hectares of bushland.
