A Lismore man’s been arrested after allegedly exploiting a child online and harbouring child abuse material.
Strike Force Trawler detectives began engaging online with the man last month, posing as a 14-year-old girl.
During these conversations, the 33-year-old allegedly discussed sexually explicit acts he wished to perform on the child.
He was arrested this morning, as police raided a Lismore business and a home near Casino.
There, they seized a number of electronic devices.
The man has been charged with using a carriage service to send indecent material to a person under the age of 16, using a carriage service to solicit child abuse material, possession of child abuse material and other offences.
He was refused bail.
