A Belmont man has been arrested and charged with allegedly filming and possessing child abuse material.
Ealier this year, police allegedly found a number of images on the 37 year-old’s laptop.
A month later in July, they searched a home in Belmont and seized mobile phones, computers and external storage devices.
He was arrested just before 10 o’clock Tuesday morning, and charged with possessing child abuse material and possessing ammunition without permit.
He was due to face Belmont Local Court today.
