This year’s annual Jacaranda Festival in Grafton has been described as the best in the 85-year history of the event.
Thousands of tourists, including many from overseas made the journey to the town to take in the spectacular purple blooms.
Visitors also flocked to the CBD on Thursday for entertainment, which included music and dancing.
Organisers are now busy planning next year’s event which they predict will be even bigger.
