West Tamworth has won the inaugural New South Wales Weekend Pennant Women’s Final, played at the brand new facility at Belmont Golf Club.
West Tamworth was up against powerful Sydney club St Johns Park, skippered by Maryanne Parcel.
But the ladies from the North West held their nerve, led by teenager Zoe Stewart, claiming victory by two shots after starting the final end all square.
