A Lismore man is fighting for life after he was shot in the head overnight.
Just before 8pm police rushed to a house on Dawson Street after a firearm was discharged.
The 22-year-old was initially rushed to the nearby Lismore Base Hospital before being transferred to the Gold Coast in a critical condition.
Several people who were in the house at the time, are assisting police with their inquiries.
