MAN SUFFERS SUSPECTED HEART ATTACK ON BOARD CRUISE SHIP

A man has been flown to hospital after suffering a suspected heart attack, on board a cruise ship off the far north coast.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the scene, around 100 nautical miles off Ballina, shortly before 1pm.

A medical team treated the 41-year-old, before strapping him into a rescue harness and flying him to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
