The Pacific Highway near Grafton has reopened after a serious crash which claimed the life of a 32-year-old woman overnight.
Police have been told the woman was behind the wheel of a Mazda sedan when it collided head on with a southbound vehicle, just south of the town at around 7 o’clock in the evening.
She died at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 47-year-old man, was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
His three passengers were also taken to hospital.
Investigations are ongoing.
