LEVEL THREE WATER RESTRICTIONS FOR CASINO

Level three water restrictions will be introduced in Casino this week, as the run of dry weather continues to place pressure on the region’s water supply.

No irrigation will be permitted for residents who are connected to town water, while tighter rules are in place for using hoses and watering gardens.

Casino had previously been on level one restrictions, however individual usage has been higher than predicted.

Large industry is excluded from the change, while there is no restrictions on stock watering.
