ANNA BAY SERVICE STATION ROBBED AT KNIFE POINT

There was a frightening ordeal for a service station attendant at Port Stephens overnight.

Police have been told a man entered the business on Nelson Bay Road at Anna Bay just after 11 o’clock on Monday evening, when he threatened the female staff member with a knife.

The man, who’s described as being of caucasian appearance, around 180cm tall with a thin build and aged between 25 and 30, made off with cash and cigarettes

At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a hooded jacket, dark pants, work boots and a dark and light coloured beanie.
