9|NBN Commercial Production Newcastle in conjunction with NBN News will be covering the 2019 Greater Bank Open Championship Netball Grand Final, live, exclusive and free, for the first time ever. Every minute and every goal……
The Grand Final will be live streamed on the NBN News website, Facebook and youtube page from 2pm on Saturday September 7.
An hour-long highlights program will be telecast on NINE Newcastle on Saturday 14th September from 1pm.
The commentary coverage will be led by NBN News Sports Presenter Kate Haberfield. A former Wests Leagues and Newcastle representative player, she is now back on court as a junior coach.
Sam and Kate
Kate will be joined by local netball legend Sam Poolman and NBN News reporter, Lauren Kempe. Kempe comes from a great history in the game with her grandmother Thais Kempe actually started Cessnock Netball back in the 1970s. Lauren, a former representative player herself, will keep an expert eye on all the action from the sidelines.
