WEATHER | WET END TO WINTER FOR THE COAST

Coastal showers are set to continue for a few days, with a small chance of rain in the drought affected Hunter Valley.

Sadly the rain won’t make its way to the state’s north west, which remains in the grips of one of the worst dry stints on record.

A new low will form on Thursday, with showers set to increase between the Central Coast and Mid North Coast throughout the day.

Elsewhere, it remains sunny and dry with the south-east corner of Queensland likely to see storms.
