SECOND TITLE IN FOUR YEARS FOR HUNTERS’ WOMEN

The Newcastle Hunters women have claimed their second Waratah League championship in four years, hammering Canberra in Sunday’s grand final.

Alison Ebzery came off the bench to top score for Newcastle in the 25 point win.

Meanwhile, the Central Coast Crusaders have scored a dramatic victory in the final of the Waratah League championship men’s division.

With the score locked at 72-all, the home side produced a dramatic winner.
