NSW PREMIER SAYS SHE WON’T INTERVENE IN ESSENTIAL ENERGY JOB CUTS

Overnight, New South Wales premier, Gladys Berejiklian has said she won’t intervene in the job cuts of state government-owned Essential Energy.

Opposition leader Jodi Mckay stating more should’ve been done to stop the company’s cut to 180 regional jobs – more than 30 of those from Port Macquarie.

John Barilaro visited the Mid North Coast this week, ensuring he would help save the employees’ careers.

But with the deadline for negotiations with Essential Energy closing last night, it appears to be the coalition party promise hasn’t been delivered.
