Hunter region Vietnam veterans have come together to commemorate the 19 servicemen from Newcastle and its surrounds, that were killed in the south of the country during the bloody conflict.
The group marched into Civic Park this afternoon, to lay floral wreaths around the Vietnam memorial.
This year’s service was dedicated to Corporal Robert Jackson, who lost his life in Feburary 1970.
