The state’s road toll has risen again after a 23-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash near Coffs Harbour overnight.
Emergency services were called to Donn-Patterson Drive at around 1:30am after a motorcycle collided with a tree.
The rider was treated by paramedics at the scene before being transferred to Coffs Harbour Hospital, where he later died.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
So far 223 people have lost their lives on New South Wales roads since January.
