Renowned composer Barrington Pheloung has died at his Northern Rivers home, aged 65.
He famously wrote the themes for several popular British crime dramas including Inspector Morse, and Dalziel and Pascoe.
Pheloung also wrote scores for radio, theatre and video games in a career spanning 30 years.
