2,500 JUNIOR PLAYERS TO COMPETE IN NATIONAL PRIMARY GAMES

The National Primary Games get underway tomorrow morning in Tamworth.

The two-day event will see around 2,500 junior players compete across a variety of sports, including rugby league, netball, tennis, football and for the first time, wheelchair basketball.

For the fifth year, the Northern Inland Academy of Sport is hosting the carnival, which caters for children between the ages of eight and 14.

The opening ceremony gets underway tomorrow morning at 8am at the Sports Dome.
