The search has been suspended for a fisherman who was swept off rocks south of Newcastle on Sunday.
On Tuesday, emergency crews spent a third day scouring an area between Timber Beach and Snapper Point for the man, aged in his 60s.
It’s understood he was wearing a lifejacket.
Police will re-assess whether to continue the search tomorrow, based on the weather conditions.
