KURRI HANG ON FOR NARROW WIN OVER CENTRAL

Round 10 of Newcastle Rugby League and Lakes have scored a much needed win over Maitland, while Kurri moved to third thanks to a two point victory over Central.

The Bulldogs opened the scoring inside three minutes, before Barker grabbed an intercept a few minutes later to make it 12-nil.

A try to Josh Allison got the Butcher Boys back into the game.

But Kurri’s Barry McGrady was just getting warmed up, his first half hat trick helped the Bulldogs to a 22 points to eight lead at the break.

That’s where the scoring ended for the home side, as Allison hunted a hat trick of his own.

Kurri hanging on for a two point win.
