A mixed weekend for the Northstars in Melbourne in the Australian Ice Hockey League, losing to the Ice on Saturday, before beating the Mustangs this afternoon.
The visitors were on top early, Newcastle grabbed a second through Trey Phillips, then a third thanks to Hamish Powell.
The Mustangs did manage to pull one back, but the Northstars capped off the win with a fourth in the final minute.
