CYCLIST AIRLIFTED AFTER STUCK BY A CAR NEAR TAREE

A 73 year old Taree man remains in John Hunter Hospital with spinal injuries, after he was hit by a car.

Police say the man was travelling south along Princes Street at Cundletown, when he was struck by a small four-wheel-drive at around 6 o’clock last night.

The driver was taken for mandatory blood and urine testing, while the man was airlifted to hospital.
