TEENAGER CAUGHT MORE THAN 80KM/H OVER THE SPEED LIMIT AT BERKELEY VALE

An 18-year-old man has been charged after he was allegedly caught travelling at more than 80km/h over the speed limit on the Central Coast.

The teenager was issued an infringement notice and fined $2435, after he was picked up by police at Berkeley Vale on Saturday evening.

Police will allege the P-plater was behind the wheel of a Holden Commodore which was clocked at 141km/h in a 60km/h zone on Wyong Road.

The Killarney Vale man’s licence was also suspended for six months.
