It won’t be quite the fairytale finish for Quirindi’s Sam Carter, after the ACT Brumbies went down this morning in their Super Rugby semi-final to the Jaguares.
The short turn-around and hectic travel schedule to Argentina appeared to take its toll on the Brumbies, as they lost 39-7.
Carter joins a numbers of players farewelling the Brumbies, as the 29-year-old now heads to Ireland to play for Ulster.
