WET WEATHER WREAKS HAVOC WITH TERRIGAL WATER QUALITY

It’s the state’s most polluted beach and it’s closed once again.

Terrigal Beach, the Haven and the lagoon are all no-go zones, with recent wet weather causing poor water quality.

Central Coast Council says it’s possible that pollution spilled over from the lagoon, but it may not be the only source.

It comes after residents repeatedly raised concerns about contamination from Terrigal’s seven drains.

Council is investigating.
