$1.3-MILLION UPGRADE FOR GLEN INNES SALEYARDS

The Glen Innes Saleyards are set to undergo a major facelift, receiving $1.3-million from the New South Wales Drought Stimulus Package.

“This will allow for the expansion of the Glen Innes Saleyards to turn it into the premier sheep selling facility in New South Wales. New sheep pens, loading ramps, lighting, amenities, car parking, the whole facility will be upgraded and expanded”, said Member for Northern Tablelands, Adam Marshall.

Glen Innes Severn Council is also contributing $50,000 to the project with work expected to commence in the coming weeks.
