MAN CHARGED OVER CENTRAL COAST SHOPPING CENTRE OUTBURST

A man has been refused bail after allegedly threatening customers and police at a shopping centre at The Entrance on Tuesday.

The man was allegedly armed with two knives and a large table leg when police say he started acting aggressively, while approaching a nearby bus.

Officers were forced to intervene, drawing their firearms and arresting him.

The man’s also believed to have threatened people in East Gosford earlier in the day.

He’s been charged with seven offences, including wielding a knife in a public place and possessing prohibited drugs and will face Wyong Local Court on Wednesday.
