The body of a newborn baby has been found in the backyard of a Newcastle home.
Police are expected to address the media later today, after the body was discovered at a home on Church Street at Stockton at around 7 o’clock this morning.
Officers remain at the scene, with the age and cause of death not yet known.
Grave concerns are held for the baby’s mother.
