Most days of the year, Newcastle’s Soul Cafe provides warm meals and support to the city’s homeless people.
But the tables will be turned tonight, with a group of volunteers heading out to sleep rough for a week.
The service shares a meal and helps where it can, but looks to see what more it can do, first hand.
Soul Cafe’s major fundraising sleepout will be held this Friday night.
