An elderly man has been winched from the Carnival Spirit cruise liner, 20 nautical miles off the coast of Coffs Harbour.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter retrieved the 80-year-old who was suffering a medical condition.
He was transported to the John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition
