GAV’S WEATHER | CLOUD BUILDING AFTER FINE DAY

The sun returned to much of the region today as a high pressure system moved through.

Across north eastern Australia, there was high level cloud as a vigorous front approaches the west coast.

It’ll be a chill start for much of the west, as that strong front moves through, signaling the arrival of winter.

Further north and unseasonal rain will  develop across north eastern Queensland under that ever increasing cloud cover.

The high will make for a fine end to the week inland after another cold frosty start.

Along the coast, south easterly winds will bring with it a few showers and cloudy conditions.
