TENTH PERSON ARRESTED IN TAMWORTH’S “ICE CASTLE” INVESTIGATION
A tenth person has been arrested over the alleged supply of illegal drugs and firearms in Tamworth.
Neil Edward Cook has been refused bail, accused of eight gun-related offences.
The 61-year-old faces a maximum of 20 years in jail if convicted.
On Thursday, police raided homes across Tamworth, arresting eight people as part of a probe into the supply of methlamphetamine and illegal firearms.
At the centre of the mass operation, a so-called “ice castle” that authorities allege was responsible for distributing drugs across New South Wales and down to Melbourne.
