GAV’S WEATHER | COLD START TO WINTER

Another blast of cold polar air is on the way early next week, with the icy southerly winds to continue prior to its arrival.

Inland, it will remain fine.

Elsewhere, the coldest fronts of the year will sweep across the Tasman, in turn producing more swell for the east coast.

Jet stream cloud has been increasing over the north east of the state, as some tropical moisture gets drawn southward producing rain.
