RESTRICTIONS LIFTED FOR GREYHOUND TRACK AHEAD OF CUP CARNIVAL

Some welcome news for Tamworth Greyhound Racing Club ahead of its annual Cup Carnival next month.

The club’s been approved to host eight-dog races at the carnival.

It was previously only allowed to race six dogs at a time, under restrictions from Greyhound Racing New South Wales.

It comes after the club was shut down late last year, due to safety concerns.

The first meeting is scheduled for June 15.
