TEENAGER CHARGED OVER BYRON BAY CRIME SPREE
A 14-year-old boy has been charged over an alleged crime spree on the state’s far north coast, in which a number of items were stolen from homes at Byron Bay.
The teenager was arrested on Jonson Street late on Monday afternoon, before being taken to Byron Bay Police Station where he was charged.
It’s alleged the boy was one of two people who stole items, including a scooter, three tablet devices and cash, from properties on Carlyle and Cowper streets on Monday afternoon.
A second person remains on the run.
