In Newcastle Netball, South Lions were far too strong for Maryville Tavern.
A solid win for Wests Balance One as well, while BNC made light work of Wests Balance Two and Forsythes accounted for Nova Thunder.
Just two points separated the two teams in the first quarter – Forsythes with the slender lead.
But they steamed ahead steadily and ran out 16 point winners after a strong final quarter.
