A compliance operation on the M1 Motorway on the Central Coast has uncovered a GPS jamming device and a modified speedometer.
The device, which would prevent a vehicle from recording the kilometres it travelled, was found in one of nine heavy vehicles inspected at the Mount White weighbridge on Friday.
The driver, a 54-year-old man from Campbelltown in Sydney also returned a positive roadside drug test and was suspended from driving for 24-hours.
Charges are yet to be laid.
