In round two of Newcastle rugby league, Lakes beat Cessnock, Maitland accounted for Central and and Wests smashed Kurri.
Both the Rosellas and Bulldogs went into the match on the back of opening round wins.
Blake Andrews had the first try for the home side inside the first five minutes.
Wests went down the right again – for a second try.
An intercept sparked the Bulldogs into action.
But the Rosellas hit straight back again, and again taking a 22 point lead into the break.
The Bulldogs made some ground in the second half but it was the Rosellas day.
